Synchronization of Magento product with Archived product in Salesforce

When you try to synchronize Magento product with Archived product in Salesforce you will see an error in the queue. This is because the archived records and associated entries in price books will disappear from all display functions. But their Ids are still reserved in the Salesforce system

We could advise next solution:

  • Edit your product in Magento and click Save and duplicate

  • Remove the old product from Magento

  • Change SKU for a new product to the same as the old product has

  • Clear “From Magento“ queue (you need to delete all records from the queue connected with archived products and orders. But the easiest way is to clear From Magento queue )

  • Re-sync orders which were placed with archived product

 

If synchronize archived products in Bulk mode Error message will contain other text
