Individual customer may overwrite company account

There could be a situation when synchronization of Individual customer might impact on Company account:

  • Go to Magento admin panel - Customers - All Customers - Create new Individual customer for example:

    • First name = Firstname

    • Last name = Lastname

    • Email = Firstname@Lastname.com

  • Check Customer was synced to SF Account and SF Contact (Firstname Lastname)

  • Edit customer in Magento - select Account Information tab and select Associate to Company

    • for example Company1

  • Check Customer was synced to SF Account (Company1) and SF Contact (Firstname Lastname)

  • Delete created customer in Magento

  • Go to Magento admin panel - Customers - All Customers - and Create the same Individual customer again:

  • Check Customer was synced to SF Account (Company1) and SF Contact (Firstname Lastname)

  • Edit customer and add some Billing Shipping address

  • Check Company1 Account

AR: Company SF Account address was overwritten by individual customer
