Accounts merging
Automatic Account merging works when set next option
Go to Magento Admin panel - Salesforce - B2B & Customers - Account Configuration section
Set Account de-duplication option to “Automatically”
Case1: First part of Magento company match with Salesforce Account name
Salesforce Org has an existing Account with Contact
For Example, the Account name is “Corporation10” and Contact name is “Corporation10 Admin” with email corporation10@admin.com
Now create new Company in Magento. But with a different name (add a second part to name) “Corporation10 Admin” and the same company admin: “Corporation10 Admin” with email corporation10@admin.com
After synchronization New Salesforce Account will be created “Corporation10 Admin”. Corporation10 Account will not be merged into a new one. Existing Contact will be re-assigned to this Corporation10 Admin Account.

Case2: Second part of Magento company match with Salesforce Account name
Salesforce Org has an existing Account with Contact
For Example, the Account name is “Corporation11” and Contact name is “Admin Corporation11” with email admin@corporation11.com
Now create new Company in Magento. But with a different name: “Admin Corporation11” and the same company admin: “Admin Corporation11” with email admin@corporation11.com
After synchronization, New Salesforce Account will be created “Admin Corporation11”. Corporation11 Account will not be merged into a new one. Existing Contact will be re-assigned to Admin Corporation11 Account.
Case3: Magento company name and Salesforce Account name does not match
Salesforce Org has an existing Account with Contact
For Example, the Account name is “test333” and Contact name is “test444 test444” with email
Now create new Company in Magento. But with a different name: “test444 test444” and the same company admin: “test444 test444” with email test444@test444.com
After synchronization New Salesforce Account will be created “test444 test444”. test333 Account will not be merged into a new one. Existing Contact will be re-assigned to test444 test444 Account.
Case4. Magento company name match with Salesforce Account name
Salesforce Org has two existing Account with different Contacts
For Example, the Accounts name is“Corporation15 Corporation15” and Contact name is “test1” and “test2“
Now create new Company in Magento with name: “Corporation15 Corporation15” and company admin: “Corporation15 Corporation15” with email Corporation15@Corporation15.com
After synchronization Salesforce Accounts will be merged into one “Corporation15 Corporation15” Account“. Existing test1 and test2 Contacts will be assigned to one “Corporation15 Corporation15” Account“. Also new Contact will be created and assigned to “Corporation15 Corporation15” Account“
Second Account
Case5. Provide Company name in Magento Customer billing address
Salesforce Org has three existing Account. For Example, the Accounts name is“Corporation150” and Contact name is “test1”,“test2“, “test3“
Now create new Customer in Magento with different name. For example: “Jon1 Doe1” and email Jon1 @Doe1.com. This customer will be synchronized into new SF Jon1 Doe1 Account and Contact
Edit customer - select Addresses tab and click Add new Address button
type new address and mark Default Billing Address slider
Type “Corporation150” into “Company” field
Save Customer
After synchronization Salesforce Accounts will be merged into one “Corporation150” Account. Existing test1, test2, test3 Contacts will be assigned to one “Corporation150” Account“
