RMA (User Stories)
To start synchronizing your Returns with Salesforce you need to set one option at your decision on the Salesforce Returns Configuration page
Go to Magneto Admin panel - Salesforce - Returns
Set next option for example
1. Automatic Synchronization - Yes
Newly created return and any changes made in the existing return will be automatically synchronized with Salesforce
2. Default Owner - Platform Integration User
This default owner will be assigned to the Case when created.
3. Subject Prefix - RMA-
Prefix for the RMA subject when synced to Salesforce.
All information about the Shipment is sent to Salesforce according to the fields mapping
Go to Magento Admin panel - Salesforce - Fields Mapping Extra - Returns
Go to Magento Admin panel - Salesforce - Fields Mapping Extra - Returns Product
Go to Magento Admin panel - Salesforce - Fields Mapping Extra - Returns Status
Also, you have the ability to create your own custom mappings
Click on the “Add new mapping“ button
Select “Magento Attribute”
Select “Salesforce Attribute”
Set “Enable” to “Yes“
Select “When” mode
Click the “Save Mapper“ button
Now let's check how the Returns synchronization works
Go to Magento Frontend as a customer - Add some product to Cart
Click Cart icon - “Proceed to Checkout“ button
Select shipping method on the checkout/#shipping page and click the “Next“ button
Select payment method and click the “Place Order“ button
Go to Magento Admin panel - Sales - Orders - scroll to the created order
Click Select - View link on the created order
Click Ship - Submit Shipment Button
Click Create Returns - Return Items tab
Click Add Product button and select the product you want to return
Fill all required fields (for ex.)
Requested - 1
Return Reason - Wrong Size
Item Condition - Unopened
Resolution - Exchange
Click Submit Returns button
Go to Magento Admin panel - Sales - Returns - scroll to the created return
Click on the Salesforce ID link - Feed - Details tab and check all data
Click on Related tab - Case Line Item Name link and check all data
Go to Magento Admin panel - Sales - Returns - scroll to the created return
Click Action - View - Returns Items tab
fill next fields:
Authorized - 1
Status - Authorized
Click Save button
Click on the Salesforce ID link - Feed - Details tab and check all data
Click on Related tab - Case Line Item Name link and check all data
Go to Magento Admin panel - Sales - Returns - scroll to the created return
Click Action - View - Returns Items tab
fill next fields:
Returned - 1
Status - Return Received
Click Save button
Click on the Salesforce ID link - Feed - Details tab and check all data
Click on Related tab - Case Line Item Name link and check all data
Go to Magento Admin panel - Sales - Returns - scroll to the created return
Click Action - View - Returns Items tab
fill next fields:
Approved - 1
Status - Approved
Click Save button
Click on the Salesforce ID link - Feed - Details tab and check all data
Click on Related tab - Case Line Item Name link and check all data
