Reverse sync objects through mass action

Salesforce allows adding several objects to be manually synced back to Magento. (It is possible to open a record and click on the ‘Sync with Magento' button). The more productive way is to add several objects in the butch. For this purpose, you should have 'Sync with Magento’ button in the list of objects.

  1. Open a list of objects, for example, Accounts. Click on Setup - Edit Object:

2. Select 'List View Button Layout' and click on Edit button:

3. In the Custom Buttons section select 'Sync Account with Magento' and click on Add button, Save:

4. Refresh the Accounts page. Now the 'Sync Account with Magento' button is available and there is a possibility to mark checkboxes for several Accounts and sync these records manually back to Magento.

Most likely, there will be a question about how to see records that were created on a particular day. To reply to it we need to add the column 'Last Modified Date':

  1. Select ‘All Accounts' (or All Contacts, etc,..) view. Click on the gear button and chose 'Select fields for Display’:

2. In the popup find 'Last Modified Date' and move it to Visible Fields, Save:

3. Now the sorting for modification date is available. Sort from the latest records, mark needed checkboxes, and click on 'Sync Accounts with Magento'.
