Automated Synchronization
This option allows you to enable automatic synchronization. If disabled, the synchronization still can be performed manually.
To Enable automatic synchronization
go to Magento Admin panel - Salesforce (sidebar menu) - Orders - Order Configuration tab
Set the “Automatic Synchronization“ option to “Yes“
As a result, when customers place a new order on Frontend it will be automatically synchronized with Salesforce Order. Also, any change made with an order (for ex. add comments, change status) will be automatically synchronized too.
To check if the order was synchronized:
go to Magento Admin panel - Sales - Orders - scroll to newly created order
You should see that “Salesforce Sync Status” column has a green tick and “Salesforce Order ID” column has link
or click “Select - View“ on the created order and choose “Salesforce“ tab
To Disable automatic synchronization
go to Magento Admin panel - Salesforce (sidebar menu) - Orders - Order Configuration tab
Set the “Automatic Synchronization“ option to “No“
As a result, when customers place a new order on Frontend it will not be automatically synchronized with Salesforce Order.
To check if the order was not synchronized:
go to Magento Admin panel - Sales - Orders - scroll to newly created order
You should see that “Salesforce Sync Status” column has a red exclamation mark and “Salesforce Order ID” column is empty
or click “Select - View“ on the created order and choose “Salesforce“ tab
Manual synchronization
