Invoice Configuration

The “Enable Invoice Synchronization” option allows you to Enable/Disable invoice synchronization. If disabled, invoice synchronization is skipped.

To Enable synchronization

  • go to Magento Admin panel - Salesforce (sidebar menu) - Invoices - Invoice Configuration tab

  • set “Enable Invoice Synchronization“ option to “Yes

After this new option appears: Enable Automatic Synchronization - Yes/No

The “Enable Automatic Synchronization” option allows you to Enable/Disables Automatic invoice synchronization. If disabled, the synchronization still can be performed manually

To Enable Automatic synchronization

  • go to Magento Admin panel - Salesforce (sidebar menu) - Invoices - Invoice Configuration tab

  • set “Enable Invoice Synchronization“ option to “Yes

  • set “Enable Automatic Synchronization” option to “Yes

As a result, when a merchant submits an invoice it will be automatically synchronized with Salesforce Invoice.

To check if the Invoice was synchronized:

  • go to Magento Admin panel - Sales - Invoices - scroll to the newly-created invoice

You should see that the “Salesforce ID” column contains a link

  • or go to Magento Admin panel - Sales - Orders and scroll to the created order

  • Click “Select - View“ on the created order and choose the “Invoices“ tab

  • The “Salesforce ID“ column should contain a link

To Disable automatic synchronization

  • go to Magento Admin panel - Salesforce (sidebar menu) - Invoices - Invoice Configuration tab

  • set “Enable Invoice Synchronization“ option to “Yes

  • set “Enable Automatic Synchronization” option to “No

As a result, when a merchant submits an invoice it will not be automatically synchronized with Salesforce Invoice.

To check if the Invoice was not synchronized:

  • go to Magento Admin panel - Sales - Invoices - scroll to the newly-created invoice

You should see that the “Salesforce ID” column is empty

  • or go to Magento Admin panel - Sales - Orders and scroll to the created order

  • Click “Select - View“ on the created order and choose the “Invoices“ tab

  • The “Salesforce ID“ column is empty

Manual synchronization

There are few possible ways for manual synchronization

  • Go to Magento Admin panel - Sales - Invoices

  • Mark checkbox next to the invoice you want to manually synchronize

  • Click the “Action” menu - “Sync with Salesforce”

  • Click the “Select - Sync with Salesforce“ action on the invoice record

  • Click the “Select - view“ action

  • Click the “Salesforce Sync“ button on the Invoice page

  • Go to Magento Admin panel - Sales - Orders and scroll to the created order

  • Click the “Select -View“ action - “Invoices“ tab

  • Mark checkbox next to the invoice you want to manually synchronize

  • Click the “Action” menu - “Sync with Salesforce”

  • Click the “Select - Sync with Salesforce“ action on the invoice record in the Order page

Note: If the “Enable Invoice Synchronization“ option is set to “No“ all “Sync with Salesforce“ buttons for invoice are hidden

Synchronize Notes

This option allows you to attach Magento Invoice notes to the Invoice notes in Salesforce

To Enable Synchronize Notes

  • go to Magento Admin panel - Salesforce (sidebar menu) - Invoices - Invoice Configuration tab

  • Set the “Synchronize Notes“ option to “Yes

As a result, Magento invoice comments will be attached to the Invoice notes in Salesforce

To Disable Synchronize Notes

  • go to Magento Admin panel - Salesforce (sidebar menu) - Invoices - Invoice Configuration tab

  • Set the “Synchronize Notes“ option to “No

As a result, Magento invoice comments will not be attached to the Invoice notes in Salesforce
