User Guide for Authorize.net CIM Payment Method

Basic Settings

  • Go to Magento Admin panel - Stores - Configuration - Sales - Payment Methods- expand Basic Settings tab

Version Installed

Version Installed option show you the latest installed Authorize.net CIM module version and its release date

Title

This option specifies the custom name of the payment method displayed on the checkout page

  • Go to Magento Admin panel - Stores - Configuration - Sales - Payment Methods- expand Basic Settings tab

  • Set the “Enable” option to “Yes“

  • Go to Magento Frontend and add some product to Cart

  • Click Cart icon - “Proceed to Checkout“ button

  • provide all required data on checkout/#shipping page and click the “Next“ button

  • select Authorize.net CIM payment method

Payment Action

This option allows you to select one of two actions:

  • Authorize Only - to check a card validation without charging until the order is invoiced and approved

  • Authorize and Capture - to debit money immediately after order submission

Environment

This option allows you to select one of two Environments “Sandbox“ or “Live

  • Sandbox - allows you to test a payment processor without having to pay the transaction you have submitted.

  • Live - start accepting payments from customer

API Login ID

Transaction Key

Client Key

To find API Login ID, Transaction Key, Client Key go to your authorize.net account - API Credentials & Keys

Enable

This option turn On/Off extension on Magento Frontend

Enable CIM functionality

This option turns On/Off CIM functionality. The Authorize.Net Customer Information Manager (CIM) allows you to store customers' sensitive payment information on secure servers, simplifying your compliance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) as well as the payments process for returning customers and recurring transactions

Vault Enabled

This option turn On/Off Vault

If Vault is enabled “Save for later use.“ checkbox is available on Frontend

  • Go to Go to Magento Admin panel - Stores - Configuration - Sales - Payment Methods- expand Basic Settings tab

  • Set the “Enabled” option to “Yes“

  • Set the “Vault Enabled” option to “Yes“

  • Go to Magento Frontend and add some product to Cart

  • Click Cart icon - “Proceed to Checkout“ button

  • provide all required data on checkout/#shipping page and click the “Next“ button

  • select Authorize.net CIM payment method

Advanced Settings

  • Go to Magento Admin panel - Stores - Configuration - Sales - Payment Methods- expand Advanced Settings tab

Vault Title

This option specifies the custom name of the Vault displayed on the checkout page

  • Go to Go to Magento Admin panel - Stores - Configuration - Sales - Payment Methods- expand Basic Settings tab

  • Set the “Enabled” option to “Yes“

  • Set the “Vault Enabled” option to “Yes“

  • Go to Magento Frontend and add some product to Cart

  • Click Cart icon - “Proceed to Checkout“ button

  • provide all required data on checkout/#shipping page and click the “Next“ button

New Order Status

This option allows you to select New Order Status for orders placed with Authorize.net CIM payment method

Credit Card Types

This option allows you to select Credit Card Types used when placing an order with Authorize.net CIM payment method

  • Go to Go to Magento Admin panel - Stores - Configuration - Sales - Payment Methods- expand Basic Settings tab

  • Set the “Enabled” option to “Yes“

  • expand Advanced Settings tab

  • Select “Credit Card Types

  • Go to Magento Frontend and add some product to Cart

  • Click Cart icon - “Proceed to Checkout“ button

  • provide all required data on checkout/#shipping page and click the “Next“ button

  • select Authorize.net CIM payment method

Debug

This option turns On/Off Debug mode

Enable Shipping Profiles

This option turns On/Off Shipping Profiles

Minimum Order Total

This option allows you to set the Minimum Order Total value when Authorize.net CIM payment method become available

Maximum Order Total

This option allows you to set the Maximum Order Total value when Authorize.net CIM payment method becomes not available

Sort Order

This option allows you to set Authorize.net CIM payment method position on thought all available payment methods on checkout/#payment page

  • Go to Magento Admin panel - Stores - Configuration - Sales - Payment Methods- expand Basic Settings tab

  • Set the “Enable” option to “Yes“

  • expand Advanced Settings tab

  • Set Sort Order

  • Go to Magento Frontend and add some product to Cart

  • Click Cart icon - “Proceed to Checkout“ button

  • provide all required data on checkout/#shipping page and click the “Next“ button

Invoice Number Field

This option allows you to select what Magento data will Populate Invoice Number field in Authorize.Net transaction

PO Number Field

This option allows you to select what Magento data will Populate PO Number Field in Authorize.Net transaction

Country Specific Settings

  • Go to Magento Admin panel - Stores - Configuration - Sales - Payment Methods- expand Country Specific Settings tab

Payment from Applicable Countries

  • All Allowed Countries - Payment Method will be available for all countries

  • Specific Countries - Payment Method will be available only for selected countries from the list

Payment for Specific Countries

3D Secure Verification Settings

  • Go to Magento Admin panel - Stores - Configuration - Sales - Payment Methods- expand 3D Secure Verification Settings tab

 

3D Secure Verification

This option turns On/Off 3D Secure Verification functionality. For extra fraud protection, 3D Secure requires customers to complete an additional verification step with the card issuer when paying

Threshold Amount

3D Secure Verification will be applied when the payment amount exceeds this value

Verify for Applicable Countries

  • All Allowed Countries - 3D Secure Verification will be applied for all countries

 

  • Specific Countries - 3D Secure Verification will be applied only for selected countries from the list
