Salesforce CRM allows you to leverage pre-defined "State and Country/Territory Picklists", it changes the country and state fields in Salesforce to the "dropdown".

IMPORTANT: If your Salesforce org is configured to use these picklists, you will also need to activate their usage in Magento module. This can be done via our configuration pages under "Salesforce > Customers" section in Magento configuration.
