The “Automated Synchronization“ option allows you to enable automatic synchronization of Magento admin users and Salesforce Sales Representatives. If disabled, the synchronization still can be performed manually
To Enable Automated Synchronization
go to Magento Admin panel - Salesforce (sidebar menu) - Negotiable Quotes - Sales Representatives tab
set “Automated Synchronization“ option to “Yes“
As a result, when a merchant assigns Salesforce User to Magento Admin user it will be automatically synchronized.
To check if Salesforce User was synchronized:
go to Magento Admin panel - System - All Users - scroll to the admin user who was assigned with Salesforce User
You should see that the “Salesforce ID” column contains a link, the “Salesforce Name“ column contains Salesforce User name, and “Salesforce Status“ is a green tick.
To Disable automatic synchronization
go to Magento Admin panel - Salesforce (sidebar menu) - Negotiable Quotes - Sales Representatives tab
set “Automated Synchronization“ option to “No“
As a result, when a merchant assigns Salesforce User to Magento Admin user it will not be automatically synchronized.
To check if Salesforce User was not synchronized:
go to Magento Admin panel - System - All Users - scroll to the admin user who was assigned with Salesforce User
You should see that the “Salesforce ID” column is empty, the “Salesforce Name“ column is empty, and “Salesforce Status“ is a red exclamation mark.
Manual Synchronization
There are few possible ways for manual synchronization
go to Magento Admin panel - System - All Users and click the “Sync with Salesforce“ button
