1. Default B2B Account Type

Record type to be used for the account record when creating new accounts from Magento. You can choose Default or an existing account type

To configure “Default B2B Account Type” option do next:

  • go to Magento Admin panel - Salesforce (sidebar menu) - B2B & Customers - B2B & B2C Account Configuration tab

  • click on “Default B2B Account Type“ drop-down list

  • select option you need

2. B2C Account

B2C Account” option has two states:

  • Click Not Used if your organization does not use Salesforce Person Accounts.

  • Click Enabled to configure Salesforce Person Accounts natively. From the Default B2C Account Type list, click an Account Record Types from Salesforce. This record type will be used for Magento customers if Magento were to create a new customer in Salesforce

To configure “B2C Account” option do next:

  • go to Magento Admin panel - Salesforce (sidebar menu) - B2B & Customers - B2B & B2C Account Configuration tab

  • click on “B2C Account“ drop-down list

  • select option you need

3. Business Process

Only use B2B Accounts - Creating new Magento customers, Magento will always create a B2B Account + Contact if not match is found in SF
Only use B2C Accounts - Creating new Magento customers, Magento will always create a B2C Account if not match is found in SF
Use both B2B and B2C - Magento will determine automatically when a B2C Account or a B2B Account + Contact will be created based on whether or not Customer has filled out a company name field during registration or checkout process

To select one of Business Process options do next:

  • go to Magento Admin panel - Salesforce (sidebar menu) - B2B & Customers - B2B & B2C Account Configuration tab

  • click on “Business Process“ drop-down list

  • select option you need
