Automatic Synchronization
This option allows you to enable automatic synchronization. If disabled, the synchronization still can be performed manually.
To Enable automatic synchronization
go to Magento Admin panel - Salesforce (sidebar menu) - B2B & Customers - Newsletter Subscribers
Set the “Automatic Synchronization“ option to “Yes“
As a result, when customers assign new subscription on Frontend it will be automatically synchronized with Salesforce Lead and Contact.
To check if the subscriber was synchronized:
go to Magento Admin panel - Marketing - Newsletter subscribers - scroll to newly created subscriber
You should see that “Salesforce Sync Status” column has a green tick and “Lead ID” column has link
To Disable automatic synchronization
go to Magento Admin panel - Salesforce (sidebar menu) - B2B & Customers - Newsletter Subscribers
Set the “Automatic Synchronization“ option to “No“
As a result, when customers assign new subscription on Frontend it will not be automatically synchronized with Salesforce Lead and Contact.
To check if the subscriber was not synchronized:
go to Magento Admin panel - Marketing - Newsletter subscribers - scroll to newly created subscriber
You should see that “Salesforce Sync Status” column has a “red exclamation mark” and “Lead ID” column is empty.
Manual synchronization
For manual synchronization do next:
Go to Magento Admin panel - Markiting - Newsletter Subscribers
Mark checkbox next to customer you want to manually synchronize
Click “Action” menu - “Sync with Salesforce”
As a result, subscriber should receive Lead ID and Salesforce Sync Status become green tick
Advanced Parsing
For registered customers only
When “Advanced Parsing“ option is set to “For registered customers only” - The Email Opt Out flag will be managed only for registered customers in Magento. This means that only registered customers who were assigned for the newsletter will be synchronized as Leads
to enable this option:
go to Magento Admin panel - Salesforce (sidebar menu) - B2B & Customers - Newsletter Subscribers
Set the “Advanced Parsing“ option to “For registered customers only“
For every subscriber
For every subscriber - The integration will use internal logic to collect the required information from the email address to capture subscriber record and their subscription status in Salesforce. This means that registered customers and guest customers who were assigned for the newsletter will be synchronized as Leads
to enable this option:
go to Magento Admin panel - Salesforce (sidebar menu) - B2B & Customers - Newsletter Subscribers
Set the “Advanced Parsing“ option to “For every subscriber“
