How to Add Subscription Profile custom attributes

Merchants are able to create custom attributes for Subscription Profiles and Subscription Profile Products, which gives the merchant a unique advantage to be able to customize the metadata on these entities without needing a developer.

The process of creating custom attributes is almost the same for Subscription Profiles and Subscription Profile Products, so let’s see how to create custom attributes for Subscription Profile Products for example.

‘Product Subscription Profile Attributes’ page is available from Admin Panel - MPOWER - Custom Attributes menu.

‘Product Subscription Profile Attributes’ page contains a grid with all available attributes

Click on the 'Add New Attribute' button to proceed to the attribute creation page

Provide the following information:

  • Default Label (required)

  • Catalog Input Type for Store Owner - select from the drop-down list (Text Field for example)

  • Values Required - Yes/No

  • Attribute Code

  • Default Value

  • Unique Value - Yes/No

  • Input Validation for Store Owner - Letters (for example)

  • Visible to Customer - Yes/No

  • Click the 'Save Attribute' button

 

The product subscription profile attribute was successfully created and saved.
