Real-Time and Scheduled Synchronization

The Real-Time and Scheduled synchronization types are available for this integration.

Real-Time Synchronization

Is typically used in lower level environments for testing purposes.

NOTE: In some cases, it can also be used in your LIVE environments, but it is NOT recommended. Real-Time synchronization does affect the user experience and can have a negative performance impact.

Scheduled Synchronization

Is the most common configuration used and is best suited for websites with large transaction volumes. Scheduled synchronization also leverages Bulk Salesforce API and helps with daily Salesforce API limits.
